Hale Kilinahe: The Journal

DECEMBER 17, 1997

I may have passes to the Fiona Apple show tonight. I didn't used to like her, but she's kind of crazy, which is cool. I like psychosis when it's not an act. The guest list still wasn't up yesterday, so I have to stop in and find out.

I hope I can avoid my boss, though. If I were the only person who noticed her often bizarre behavior I might be able to just go with the flow, but if it actually gets bad enough for people to talk behind her back, I'm scared, quite frankly.

The Braxton-Hicks contractions have started. They took me by surprise so I bothered my doctor on his day off. I'm really afraid of looking dumb in front of him because he's so cute. I know, that's what he's there for.

I figured that going to a family practitioner was the best bet because he could be my OBGYN and my kid's pediatrician, but I'm wondering now if the level of care is comparable.

Has anybody seen the previews for the new Kevin Costner movie "The Postman" yet? Yike.
