He plays Willy Bank, who is the spawn of Donald Trump and Satan.
Brokeback Mountain
At the end, I kind of felt like I'd been hit by a bus.
Half Nelson
I keep coming back to Ryan Gosling's big, sad eyes.
My mom needs surgery. Remember how I said she broke her foot a few weeks ago? Well, it's not getting any better. A couple of bones are completely crushed and a cast is not going to take care of that.

in the ear: "West End Girls" by the Pet Shop Boys and a cool cover of "Que Sera Sera" by Sly and the Family Stone

For right now, my dad is doing all of the cooking and cleaning and shopping. He's also helping her take baths. This would be an ideal arrangement, if it wasn't for the fact that dad can hardly take care of himself, because of his bum knee and assorted other ailments I've mentioned. They seem to be doing okay right now, but I wonder how long it's going to last.

I'm hoping I can go for a couple weeks next month, just to help out, but I can't see how it's going to be feasible. Katie has school until the 17th and I'm not relishing the idea of flying among a bunch of germy hordes with an infant.

God, am I tired. We've been staying up the last couple weeks to watch Whose Line is it Anyway reruns. It's become my favorite way to go to sleep. Problem is, it's not over til 11 and the kids wake me up around 6 and there's at least half an hour in there when I have to change the baby and stuff and six and a half hours just won't cut it.
