It may have been on Christmas Eve, when I looked at the laulau on my plate and wanted to throw up.

It may also have been the night I fell asleep at 8:30, for the fourth night in a row.

Or maybe it was walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night, realizing that this was my third trip in five hours.

But more than likely, it was the fact that I could not for the life of me recall when I had had my last period that tipped me off that something was wrong.

So during our shopping trip, I picked up a test.

Now, people don't get pregnant while they have IUD's. They just don't. One out of a thousand fail, and oh no, I don't have one of them. So I'm just picking up this test to rule it out. Makes it that much easier to figure out what's wrong with me. It'll be negative, I'll call my doctor, they'll run some tests. I'm fine. This is what I was thinking as I dropped the box in the cart alongside the milk and bread.

An hour later:

Oh. My. God.

Pregnancy tests, for those of you fortunate enough to be unfamiliar with them, have two windows. One that lets you know that you've used the test properly, and another one that lets you know that you've been knocked up. Most women see the first window turn pink, and then the second (or not, depending). My second window turned pink in about two seconds.

So yeah, I'm pregnant again.

We're pretty freaked out. But happy. We have to find a new place to live.

WOW! Congrats, I'm excited for you guys. Ryan didn't mention anything at lunch, darn him :P

(although I have to admit, I was rather hoping you guys would hold off til this fall so I could have a pregnancy buddy.)

If it's a boy, are you going to name him Ryan Kawailani Ozawa Version 2.0?

I asked Ryan if you guys were trying to give me a run for my money. :-D I'm thrilled for you, most certainly. And hey, what better reason for needing to move?
