Kylie Minogue - Fever

This album is pure goo.

Ryan played this CD nonstop in the car the week Zac was in the hospital. It was the perfect antidote.

Kylie reminds me of Olivia Newton-John. She's got that same non-threatening cutesy thing going. And she sings like her; sort of in that high, breathy voice like Olivia's.

Dance Floor sounds like something Olivia would have sung back in the 70's. It's disco. Pure and simple. The title track, for me, is the standout. It's cute and naughty and insanely catchy. Come Into My World really shows off Kylie's voice. Even the songs I didn't like, like the ubiquitous Can't Get You Out of My Head, have grown on me with its insistent stomp.

Uh-oh. This means I have to start reviewing movies, doesn't it? (Says the person who d/l'ed _Fever_, then bought it used w/ an employee discount and hasn't listened to it since. I love me some "Love at First Sight".)
